Dartmouth College embarks on a strategic effort to build a comprehensive digital information strategy for academic records preservation and information resource management. The Mellon Foundation grants both Dartmouth College and Duke University $350,000 to collaborate on developing campus-wide digital information strategies. Within Dartmouth, a task force is charged with working through internal issues of governance, culture shift, and technology needs around managing digital college records and sharing scholarly research.
